Ofsted Inspection

 Ofsted inspected the school in June and July 2025  and judged the school to be OUTSTANDING in all areas.

  Statutory Inspections of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS)

 The National Society inspected the school in January 2026 under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005.The inspection findings indicate that St Michael's Church of England School is living up to its foundation as a Church school.

 The Academy Trust and leaders continue to routinely quality assure the school effectiveness through regular visits from an external advisor (previously HMI). These reports are reviewed by the Local Academy Committee and the Academy Trust Board.
